We are an award-winning technical company based in Basingstoke in the UK.  For over 25 years we have developed unique products (see Profile) for photocopiers and multi-function devices. Current solutions include accessibility, cost recovery/payment  and paper tray security. Our expertise (bordering on geeky) enables us to support you, or your clients, allowing both parties  to maximise the way they function. The passion we have for what we do is evident in the dedication we put in fixing those little problems that cause such a headache but no one else seems to able to quite put right.

m3i

m3i is our new software platform running inside Ricoh MFDs that enhances the features and functionality of Ricoh’s Embedded Software Architecture (ESA). m3i can be used in 2 ways. Firstly, it can be used to provide a simple method whereby Ricoh MFD’s can be customised to an individual customer’s specific requirements. Secondly, it can provide Ricoh dealers or third party companies who do not have the necessary development resources to exploit ESA, a quick and efficient way to develop their own discrete solutions.

Selectec used the m3i platform to develop 2 in-house solutions, Access Module and ScanSend. Additionally, a market leading education software company in the UK has already used m3i to embed a solution into Ricoh MFDs. Through utilising m3i, the product was brought to market a year earlier than had been anticipated by the company’s own developers.

A Ricoh caption for ESA says “What if it was possible to…?” Ricoh technology – moving ideas forward.   m3i may just be able to move those ideas forward a lot faster!

PaperCut – Print And Copy Monitoring

Select Technology is the master distributor for PaperCut MF in the UK.
The PaperCut product range is designed to monitor, audit and control network printing and internet use and/or copying. PaperCut is renowned for its combination of powerful features and ease-of-use.
