The Access Module was the first m3i solution to be launched from a range of innovative MFD User Interfaces currently under development. With a combination of the Access Module and Ricoh’s Embedded Software Architecture, users can control a Ricoh copier/MFD remotely.

The Access Module can be accessed via a remote ‘controller’ with a compatible internet browser such as a PC or PDA.
The Access Module has been designed to be both inherently accessible and also to take advantage of assistive technology used on the PC or PDA.

A. the Access Module can help with a variety of disabilities but was developed with wheelchair users and the visually impaired in mind
Q. What assistive technology is the Access Module compatible with?
A. Specifically that which aids the viewing of web pages, such as magnifiers and screen readers (e.g JAWS for PCs). The Access Module has implemented ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite) mark-up. ARIA defines a way to make dynamic Web content and Web applications more accessible.
