The PaperCut Payment Gateway Module is an additional component that provides services that allow users to transfer funds from an external source into their personal PaperCut account.

Online Payment

Larger organization such as Universities or Colleges may wish to provide online payment via 3rd services such as those provided by Banks or organizations like PayPal and VeriSign. The payment interface may be provided for internal use (e.g. for student-only use), or opened up for external access to allow parents to make payments via the web. The Payment Gateway module can hook into a number of leading service providers or may be quickly adapted to fit others.

Student Fee/Management Systems

A number of leading higher education organizations use the Payment Gateway module to allow students to transfer small amounts of credit into their print account. At the end of semester/term, this amount is totalled up and added to their fees/loan. The Payment Gateway module can be configured to automatically debit the student management records or an external database system.

Cashless Systems

Organizations that use a centralized point-of-sale (POS) system to manage cashless payment on campus can benefit from the PaperCut Payment Gateway. These systems provide a database of users and interfaces/API’s to withdraw funds from a centralized database. The Payment Gateway module can be configured to use these API’s to transfer/withdraw funds from the central database.

Custom Applications

The Payment Gateway module supports plug-ins and can quickly be customized to support other 3rd party systems. The customization can be performed by either the PaperCut development team or internally using your own development staff/skills. Module Options

The development team aims to make as many module options available as standard under one common price. Some options however may incur additional costs because of the need for custom configuration or development. Some external sources also charge PaperCut “an API access fee”. Any API access fees are transparently disclosed and passed on without mark-up.

PayPal Payflow Link Integration included as standard. Requires a PayPal internet merchant account and registration for PayPal Payflow Link.
VeriSign Payflow Integration included as standard. Requires a registered VeriSign or PayPal Payflow Link merchant account.
Authorize.Net Integration included as standard. Requires a registered Authorize.Net merchant Payment Gateway Account.
CyberSource Integration included as standard. Requires a registered CyberSource Hosted Order Page (HOP) merchant account.
RBS WorldPay Integration included as standard. Requires a registered RBS WorldPay Business Gateway Plus account.
CBORD Integration included with an additional cost (to recoup API access and certification fee). Requires a configured CBORD system. CBORD setup fees also apply. Please contact CBORD for details.
TouchNet uPay Official certified TouchNet uPay solution. Integration included at a small additional cost (to recoup API access fee). Requires a configured TouchNet uPay account and signed certificate.
My Student Account Integration included as standard. Requires password provided by vendor.
Barclaycard ePDQ CPI Additional access fees may apply. Requires a Barclaycard ePDQ CPI account.
CardSmith Integration included as standard. Requires a CardSmith merchant account and cards for users.
Moneris eSELECT Plus Integration included as standard. Uses the Hosted Paypage service and requires a Moneris eSELECT Plus account.
Transaction to file (CSV) Integration included as standard. T his option writes transactions to CSV text file for later batch/post processing. For example importing into a student management/billing system. This is used to implement student loan/billing systems such as “term bill”.
