ScanSend was created using the m3i platform, details of which can be found at m3interconnect.com

If you would like to try this new type of application for yourself and you have an appropriate MFD then please download a free trial. Alternatively, please contact your local Ricoh dealer.

ScanSend combines scan-to-email and scan-to-fax in a simple and cost effective solution via the touch screen of a Ricoh MFD. No server software is required.

The scan-to-email feature allows users to send emails directly from a Ricoh MFD while simultaneously placing a copy of that email in the ‘Sent Items’ folder of the user’s email program.
This provides verification that the email has actually been sent and sent by them rather than from some generic machine email address. Replies to the emails return to the sender’s own email inbox.

The scan-to-fax feature utilises a fax gateway rather than a fax hardware option, so no phone line is required. Customers can either use their own fax gateway or the m3i gateway. The latter operates on a pay-as-you-go basis and only needs to be topped-up when and if the service is used.
